Music at the Market

The Black Mountain Tailgate Market is a producer-only market with 20 member vendors and a community led board of directors. The market hosts over 100 local vendors (50+ Vendors per Saturday) and collaborating non-profit organizations, serving an average of over 1,500 market-goers each Saturday morning!

Our Cultivator of the Arts Program, which supports a paid platform for local musicians during the Market Season, is generously supported by our Sponsors. Compensation for playing at the market is contingent upon Sponsorships... but we're proud to offer our Musicians a love offering from our many producers each week. 

In 2025, we're partnering with White Horse Black Mountain to bring you our first Annual Spring Market Series. 

This year, local musician Taylor Watkins will be orchestrating music at the Market for our Spring Market Series.

During the Main Market Season, local musician and owner of Sanctuary Flooring, Joe Hallock schedules acts for the Main Stage!
